CHESS CLUB

CLUB DESCRIPTION

The Hopewell High School Chess Club provides students with the opportunity to play chess as a recreational and competitive endeavor. Students meet each week to play chess, practice their skills, and learn from each other.  The Tournaments have been going on for about twenty years.

• Host two tournaments each year  
• Competes against other schools nearby
• Competes in the State Chess Tournament held in March
