School Lunch Information The school lunch program makes it possible for every child to have a balanced meal during the day. We encourage you to have your child participate in the lunch program. Lunches may be purchased weekly, and it is a good idea for parents to make weekly purchases. If you send daily meal money to school with younger students, put the money in an envelope labeled with the child's name and "lunch money." Breakfast money should be in a separate envelope. All meal purchases are recorded using a computerized system. Prices
Monthly menus are sent home with the students and contain helpful information such as changes to the school calendar. Free and reduced meals are available for children who qualify. If your child has not received a letter with a lunch/breakfast number prior to school starting, you must complete another application. It may take up to 10 days for your application to be processed; during that time parents are responsible for purchasing meals. Parents are informed directly by Food Services if a child will receive free or reduced price meals. Applications for the free/reduced meal program may be made any time during the school year. You may obtain a form in the school office. All students need to eat breakfast to do their best learning. Please take advantage of the breakfast program. |
