Emergency Action Plan
Keeping your children safe and informed.

In the event of an emergency, please follow these guidelines:

  • Please do not come to the school. Your children are sheltered and safe in school.
  • Do not call the school - this will tie up emergency lines.
  • Tune in to the radio and/or television.
  • Log on to the Hopewell Schools' web site if possible: http://www.hopewell.k12.va.us/
  • Make sure your childs school has your correct contact infomation on file.  We will utilize a automated system for all emergencies and early closings.

  • Listen to local radio stations (WRVQ/WRXL/WRVA/WKHK).
