Dear Hopewell Students and Families,
At yesterday evening's 6/11/2020 school board meeting, and in response to the safety challenges caused by COVID-19, the board approved an updated 2020-2021 school calendar. A copy of that calendar is attached. An effort was made to preserve the structure and integrity of our previous calendar, while delaying our start.
The start date for students is August 10.
More information will be shared about our return to school and specifically what state and local guidelines will be implemented to ensure safety as we respond to the effects of COVID-19. We know our children need to be back, we are anxious to see them again, and safety remains our top priority above all. We are diligently preparing to meet both safety and educational needs.
