COVID-19 Update

Dear Hopewell City Public Schools Families,

As we continue to keep you informed when we have a staff member who tests positive and has been in our buildings, we want to make you aware that we have had a third staff member in the technology department who has tested positive for COVID-19.  Because of the proactive measures we took with the first of these related cases to quarantine staff in this department, this case does not create an additional risk of exposure to others.

As noted previously, we encourage anyone who interacted with technology department staff after October 12th to monitor their symptoms and reach out to their primary care provider if they have any concerns.  Individuals can also contact the Crater Health District's COVID-19 hotline at 804-862-8989.  If any individuals are identified through the contact tracing process, they will be contacted directly by the health department.

The health and safety of our students, staff, families, and community is our top priority.  We continue to work in close collaboration with Hopewell City and the health department to serve the well-being of the Hopewell community.  Please keep the health of these individuals and our community in your thoughts.  If you have any questions, please let us know.
