Dear Hopewell City Public Schools Families,
We continue to try to find the right balance between keeping our families and staff safe during the pandemic while also wanting to open up our schools for in-person learning for those families who choose it. As you know, we had been planning to open the school buildings up for students during February. However, in the School Board meeting last week, the decision was to change the opening dates to March.
We anticipate opening for our PK-3rd grade students and a few other groups on March 2, 2021 and all other students on March 16, 2021. We will provide more details soon about our March plans but for now wanted to be sure you knew of this update.
