A note from HHS Principal Dr. Poe regarding Friday 2/26's opening night football game

Dear [Hopewell City Sports Fans,]

We appreciate your constant support and love for our athletic teams. We sincerely apologize for the issues with the live streaming of Friday night's football game against Colonial Heights.  We are very proud of our team's win against Colonial Heights and understand your disappointment in not being about to stream the game.

Unfortunately, we had several issues including the weather last week that delayed laying some of the cabling required, difficulty with NFHS getting the system calibrated, and COVID quarantines that prevented staff from being able to live stream through Twitter. Mr. Gray, our Athletic Director worked with NFHS until almost game time to try to get the problems resolved.

We fully expect Wednesday's home JV game against Thomas Dale to be available through NFHS. We will send information through our Communications Department if anything changes.

We thank you for your patience as we learn to navigate this process this year. Please feel free to contact me or Kerry Gray if you have any questions.

Sincerely,
Stephanie Poe, Ed.D.
