Update to Rising 7th-grade immunization information: If your child is starting 7th grade for the 2021-22 school year, the first dose of the meningococcal vaccine and the TDap booster vaccine are required for your child to start school on July 26th. Please provide proof of these vaccines to Carter G. Woodson as soon as possible.
The HPV vaccine is recommended, but not required, to start school. If you are unable to or choose not to have your child receive the HPV vaccine, they will still be allowed to enroll/register. No documentation is required if you choose this option.
