Dear HCPS students and families:
It is hard to believe we have reached the Winter Break! As we prepare to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy our family and friends, it is important that we enjoy this time of celebration safely. While it is exciting to celebrate the break, please be mindful of the continued risk and spread of COVID-19. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) continue to provide guidance related to COVID-19 mitigation. Therefore, Hopewell City Public Schools would like to remind you of the following mitigation practices:

Maintain physical & social distancing when possible;

Mask when indoors and in crowded areas;

Wash hands frequently; and

Minimize interactions with others if you are experiencing COVID-like symptoms.
For parents of any *students who test positive for COVID-19 during the winter break, contact should be made with the Crater Health Department.
