Eleven fifth graders at HEJ are working hard on creating Harry E. James' first news team! Instead of the adults doing the morning announcements, now the students are doing the news every morning! The HEJ news staff does it all. They write the scripts for each day, set up the lights and cameras, do the recording, create the word of the week and math problems, do the editing, and even put the final draft together. Using a green screen gives the effect of a real news station. The students will visit ABC News later this month.
