Both the girls and boys HHS Varsity Basketball teams will play in the basketball Regional Quarterfinal tonight:

The girls' team takes the court at 6 PM, and the boys' team follows at 8 PM for the Regional Quarterfinal basketball games. Tickets, priced at $8, are available for purchase on Gofan. Links for each game are provided below. Cash payments are also accepted at the gate.

This is a reminder that there is no school for Hopewell students for this upcoming Monday and Tuesday. Monday, February 19th is President's Day and all schools will be closed. Tuesday, February 20th, is a designated staff workday.

We also want to make you aware of a recent change in the calendar. Schools will now be closed on March 5th due to our schools serving as polling locations for the presidential primary voting.

Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year at Woodlawn Learning Center is now open. The child must be 3 or 4 by September 30, 2024 and you must live in Hopewell.

Join us as the Tri-Cities Choir Programs unite to celebrate Black History through song, alongside the renowned VSU Gospel Chorale on Wednesday, February 21st at 6:30 pm! Admission is $5 (free for children 5 and under). Let's come together with purpose!

HCPS has been featured in the news for our new initiative, Saturday School. For specific information tailored to your child's school, reach out to your child's school.

This serves as a notice that there will be a Hopewell City School Board School Board Meeting on Thursday, February 8th at 7:30pm. This meeting is open to the public.

Hopewell Parents - Be on the lookout for information coming out very soon from your child's principal regarding a brand new opportunity - Saturday School! Hopewell is launching a Saturday School program for grades 3-12 that will run February to May, giving students the opportunity to recover lost learning time. Limited transportation will also be available. Don't miss out on this opportunity with limited slots to work with great teachers - look for the message coming from your school very soon with more details.

Do you sing, dance, rap, play an instrument, or have another talent to share? Then get ready for the 10th Annual Hopewell’s Got Talent Show! The show will take place on Jan 27th at 7:00 PM. Auditions will take place Jan. 9th - 12th. See the flyer around your school, on the school website, or on social media for details on how to sign up for a date and time. Participation in the talent show is open to all Hopewell students, employees, and residents!
