If you wish to request a bus stop change, please contact your child's school and make your request. We consider changes for safety and efficiency reasons, but we can not guarantee that every parent will be able to see the bus stop from their front porch. The best way to make a request is to submit it in writing to the school. If you need assistance in formulating your request, please ask your principal for this help.
After the request is received, it will be carefully reviewed and considered. When making decisions about moving bus stops the overall safety and efficiency must be considered. What is best for one student may create a greater inconvenience for another family. If a decision is made to move a stop, the driver, school, and all of the other students assigned to that stop must be notified. It can take a week or longer to complete the process.
