Parent Portal Information

Access to your student's current grades, attendance, assignments and other important information is available online through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. You are also be able to update basic student information via Parent Portal Forms saving you valuable time and effort. The link below can be used to login or create your Parent Portal. The instructions provided here will assist you if you’ve not yet created your Parent Portal

How to Create a Parent Portal Account

  1. On an internet browser, go to PowerSchool Parent/Student Portal
  2. Click on Create Account tab and Create Account     
  3. Enter your first name
  4. Enter your last name
  5. Enter your email address
  6. Re-enter your email address
  7. Enter your desired user name
  8. Enter your desired password
  9. Re-enter your password. Passwords must meet listed requirements.
  10. Link your student to your new account. **New student enrollments should use instructions provided in an email sent to guardian**
  • Student Name: Enter your child’s first name, leave a blank space and enter your child’s last name
  • Access ID: Enter an "S" followed by your child’s student number (example S11237610). Your child’s student number can be found on multiple documents, such as report cards and student information records. 
  • Access Password: Enter your child’s initials and birth date. This is your child’s first initial, middle initial and last initial (all upper case) and birthday mm/dd/yyyy (Example: John A. Doe with birthday of June 2, 2002 would be entered JAD06022002). 
  • If you have multiple children, repeat this process using each child’s unique Access ID and Access Password. Click Enter.
  • Congratulations! Your New PS account has been created. You MUST check your email for a link to verify your account.

Once your account has been created and you have linked your student(s) you can take advantage of the PowerSchool Mobile App for your iPhone or Android device. This can be found in both the iTunes App Store and the Google Play store. (School Code: JNCB)
