Aliyana Johnson is more than just an athlete, she’s a leader, a change maker, and a true example of what happens when passion meets purpose.

As a proud member of the Active Living Leadership (ALL) Stars, Aliyana has spent the last 10 months immersing herself in mentorship, education, and real-world experiences designed to empower student-athletes beyond the field. This program equips a select group of 20 seniors each year with tools to lead in their communities, and Aliyana has not only embraced that opportunity, she’s maximized it.

Her commitment, character, and consistency earned her the Community Impact Scholarship, and she continues to lead by example as team captain, showing up every day with unmatched work ethic and humility.

Success is not what you have, but who you become. Aliyana is becoming the kind of leader every team, classroom, and community needs. She doesn’t wait for the moment, she becomes the moment.

We are incredibly proud of you, Aliyana. Keep leading, keep striving, and never stop being the light you are. This is just the beginning, and the world is better because you’re in it.

Hopewell High School seniors recently participated in a Reverse Career Fair designed to connect graduating students with local business partners.

We are proud to announce that two Hopewell High School students received job offers and have officially signed their employment contracts:

• Nasic Cook – Offered a position with NVR

• Durron Morris – Offered a position with Superior Radiator Coils
