The board is comprised of Business, Industry, and Workforce Development leaders and community members that are knowledgeable about needs, trends and standards required in the workplace.
The mission of the Hopewell Career and Technical Education (CTE) Advisory Board (CTEAB) is to strengthen our CTE programs by making recommendations for program improvement, providing technical assistance, and influencing classroom instruction to yield high-quality programs that prepare middle and high school students for successful transition to career pathways. The board provides direct support to students through workplace readiness training initiatives to encourage and produce strong interviewing, resume writing, and basic workplace readiness skill sets.
Through the combined efforts of the CTEAB and Hopewell City Public Schools, we strive to promote and provide the best opportunities to develop highly skilled graduates who transition to post-secondary education and the workforce.
