HOPEWELL, VA — The City of Hopewell will begin street paving operations on Monday,
November 17, 2025, with work expected to be completed by Friday, December 20, 2025,
weather permitting.

Please note that paving operations will be suspended for the Thanksgiving holiday beginning
Wednesday, November 26, and will resume on Monday, December 1, 2025.
No Parking & Towing Enforcement:

“No Parking” signs will be posted along affected streets on Friday, November 14, 2025.
Vehicles parked in violation of these signs will be towed at the owner’s expense. Residents are
asked to move vehicles off the street and use alternate parking locations during paving
operations.

During work hours, temporary lane closures and traffic restrictions will be in place. The City
appreciates your patience and cooperation as we work to enhance the safety and condition of
Hopewell’s roadways.
