Due to the continued impacts of thick ice across our community, Hopewell City Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3rd, for all students and staff.

We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. We know many are ready to return to normal routines, and we want that as well, however, many shaded neighborhood streets still have sheets of ice that remain unsafe for travel.

Our teams are also working hard to remove thick ice from steps, ramps, sidewalks, and emergency exits across our buildings. The sunshine and warmer temperatures have been in our favor and should continue to help improve conditions, especially on neighborhood streets.

12-month employees should report on time unless your immediate supervisor has made adjustments to your working hours.
